It is an important part of the agricultural industry, as glyphosate has proved to be a popular herbicide for weed control and maximizing crop production. It is a broad-spectrum, non-selective herbicide used widely on crops, including corn, soybeans, cotton, and wheat, making it one of the most important herbicides.
