IDC has reported vendor shares in vendor revenue and units for the total market and in vendor revenue for the product segment views."The server market in EMEA had a healthy 2022, growing at double digits. However, we foresee a quite challenging 2023," said Luis Fernandes, senior research manager, IDC's EMEA: Future of Digital Infrastructure. "Inflation is at all-time high across multiple geographies; some of the most thriving economies in the region are now in technical recession with shrinking private spending and the Russia-Ukraine War raging on, with no apparent ending in sight. These factors might force the server market to decelerate, but solid execution and well-planned logistical operations by vendors might be the difference between a good or a stagnant year."
