It briefly profiles the positions of a selection of 12 vendors that have pursued a mix of internal development and corporate acquisitions to build out such platforms: Appian, Celonis, IBM, Jitterbit, Kofax, Microsoft, Pegasystems, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, SS&C Blue Prism, and UiPath."As the business automation technology market matures, more and more vendors are shifting to position themselves as broad platform providers," said Neil Ward-Dutton, VP AI, Automation and Analytics Europe, IDC. "With nearly 60% of European organizations telling us they plan to consolidate automation vendor relationships and take more strategic approaches to automation, it is critical that organizations work carefully to partner with automation vendors that go further than simply offering broad toolkits."
