A flowmeter is a device that measures the rate of flow of water, fuel, or gas through a pipe. There are various types of flowmeters: vortex flowmeter, turbine flowmeter, magnetic flowmeter, ultrasonic flowmeter, positive displacement flowmeter, coriolis flowmeter, and multiphase flowmeter.
