This IDC Market Perspective discusses key takeaways from IDC's UKI and German DevOps events. On September 25 to 27, 2023, in St. Albans, U.K., and on October 12 in Munich, Germany, IDC hosted its eighth DevOps Summit to hear from industry experts on the latest trends, to share insights and supply a thought leadership networking platform. The in-person events, with the theme "Connecting for Business Success: DevSecFinOps - the New World of Collaboration," covered what collaborative success looks like within modern application delivery, in a digital decade marked by an uncertain economic environment. "DevOps adoption has progressed rapidly, but organizations continue to struggle with how to truly align across teams. Transforming the business requires a different approach where tech meets speed meets economics. In this world, DevSecOps, FinOps, and cloud governance act as scale, growth, productivity, and innovation levers.
