Futuresource has been tracking, analysing and consulting upon developments in the global EdTech market for over 20 years, but since the COVID-19 pandemic, the spotlight has very much remained on EdTech and its role in maintaining and continuing children's education.

The K-12 market is at a critical juncture as to whether governments will look to build on the investments made in 2020 and 2021 and continue to push to digitally transform education. Clearly this will require significant investment in the next two to three years to refresh existing device fleets and other technologies in the classroom, in addition to closing the device equity gap, building on school connectivity infrastructure, teacher training and a digital curriculum.
