About Air Pollution Control Equipment

Air pollution control equipment is used to controls, capture, and remove harmful gases from the air stream emitted by industries. The following are the major equipment used for air pollution control: FGD, electrostatic precipitators, fabric filters, NOx control, and scrubbers and adsorbers. FGD is used to remove SO2 from flue gas that are produced from the Incineration, Power, and Chemical industries. Electrostatic precipitators are used for the removal of particulate and acid mist from industrial exhaust gas streams. Fabric filters remove dust particulates from air or gases. NOx control is used to reduce NOx emissions from industries. Scrubbers comprise different air pollution control equipment, which is used to remove pollutant gases from industries. An adsorber is used as an absorber material, which is used to remove harmful gases. An increase in air pollution has led to the demand for air pollution control equipment globally.
