IDC estimated 2023 revenue in last year's forecast would be $18.6 billion versus actual revenue of $18.5 billion. "IDC estimates that vendor revenue in the worldwide intelligent CloudOps software market, including SaaS and on-premises private cloud software, grew 32.3% year over year in 2023, exceeding $18 billion for the first time," stated Jevin Jensen, IDC's research vice president, Intelligent CloudOps Markets and Opportunities. "This matched our forecast for the year, as vendors increased the pace of acquisitions and enterprises invested in modernizing their hybrid clouds and applications."
