The feed premix industry is currently driven by increasing demand for dairy products, increasing demand for meat and meat products, rising population, and growth of the livestock industry. Furthermore, increasing demand for organically grown livestock is expected to propel the demand for feed premix. Feed premix are used in animal feed to enhance the nutritional value of the animal feed.

Majority of contagious diseases that affect people are animal-borne.
