Since the signing of the Paris Convention, the Republic of Korea has been obliged to reduce emissions by 37% compared to the 2030 emission estimate. The government's proposed reduction of 37% is aimed at reducing domestic use by 25.7% and using the international market to further reduce the rate by 11.3%.
