This report is a continuation of Practel's research in the smart grid ICT development. The report updates previous Practel's reports on this topic published in 2009-2013.

The report presents a complex picture of multiple organizations efforts to align the ICT development with smart grid growing requirements. It also provides the analysis of multiple standards dedicated to smart grid ICT; in particular, it details advanced wireless ICT - LTE and DASH7 - and how they relate to smart grid applications.

Marketing data (until 2018) and survey of industries are also provided.

This report is useful to a wide spectrum of technical, management and sale staff involved in the smart grid ICT development and implementation.
