Martin has been working in the aluminium industry for 25 years, with previous employment at CRU, Dresdner Bank, Billiton and Brook Hunt/Wood Mackenzie. After completing his MA in economics at Manchester University, Martin became an aluminium industry analyst, working on market forecasting, cost analysis, multi-client work and bespoke research. He went on to manage steel and metals equity research, work as a M&A analyst, conduct research and modelling of the bauxite, alumina, aluminium and power markets and now focuses on financial modelling and analysis of metals/mining assets. He is considered a leading expert in the field who has worked through three major downturns in the aluminium industry and has seen what the survivors have done to come through to the other side.

Yang Cao

Yang Cao is Metal Bulletin Research's principal analyst covering the global aluminium sector.
