Databases of the UN (UNdata), the Statistical Committees of the CIS countries (including Rosstat, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the Agency on Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan), customs statistics of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, official statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation were used as sources of information ; materials from the industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, Internet sites of enterprises-producers and consumers of sulfur, as well as the InfoMine database.

The first chapter provides a brief description of the world sulfur market for the period 2000-2019, as well as the prospects for its development.
The second chapter is devoted to methods for producing sulfur and raw materials used in industry; it examines the directions and volumes of supplies of raw materials to its producers in the CIS.
The third chapter analyzes the production of sulfur in the CIS for the period from 1998 to 2020. The sixth part describes the market for sulfur consumption in the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. It analyzes in detail the structure of consumption, the "production-consumption" balance. An overview of the main sectors of consumption is given, as well as a description of the largest Russian enterprises-consumers of this product.
The seventh chapter of the report provides a forecast (including price) of the development of the Russian sulfur market for the period up to 2030.
The appendices contain the addresses and contact information of the main producers (in Russia and the CIS) and consumers (in Russia) of sulfur.
