An automotive engine is a device or a machine that consumes fuel as an input and produces mechanical energy as output. It is used in passenger vehicles, airplanes, tractors, buses, two-wheelers, etc. The engine is the integral component of any vehicle that helps to convert chemical energy provided by fuel, in the form of heat, into mechanical energy in the form of power.
