About Ethanol Bus

Ethanol-based vehicles or ethanol FFVs are referred to as E85 vehicles in the US and Flex vehicles in Brazil. In Europe, the vehicle OEMs append the word "Flex" with their FFV models. Examples include Volkswagen Total Flex, Renault Hi-Flex, and Volvo Flexifuel. The E10 blend, which is Ethanol 10% and Gasoline 90%, is the most commonly blended automotive fuel available in the US and since 2011, E15 has been approved for use in conventional US vehicles with model year 2001. E85 blend, which still holds the minority share in the US markets, has huge growth potential in the US automotive industry.
