Gelatin is a form of protein derived from animal sources. This clear and tasteless protein is obtained from the collagen found in the bones, connective tissue, and skin of pigs, cattle and other animals. In old times, gelatin was used as a biological adhesive. But with advancing times, the use of gelatin has changed and diversified.
