This IDC study discusses the results of IDC's EMEA Enterprise Communications Survey, an annual survey companies across EMEA covering a range of topics, including technology usage and adaption, investment priorities, budgetary control, cloud, UC, videoconferencing, WAN/VPN usage, network infrastructure, voice and data network services, PBX adoption and management, M2M, NLS, and service provider preferences. The survey includes domestic and international companies that can have headquarters inside or outside EMEA, are multisite, and run a private network. This year, 1,569 companies across EMEA were interviewed. This study provides detailed insight into the results of the survey, with a particular focus on WAN services.

"Network managers are faced with a balancing act between rapidly growing requirements and budget constraints," said Jan Hein Bakkers, senior research manager, IDC European Telecommunications and Networking. "To address these needs, organizations will increasingly look for network solutions that can provide them with the flexibility, scalability, manageability, and cost effectiveness they require."
