This IDC study details findings related to mobile devices with the recently conducted Enterprise Mobile Device Survey of 508 enterprise mobility decision makers in the United States. The survey results cover an extensive array of topics related to enterprise mobility. Key topics of coverage include budgets, priorities, decision factors, expectations, corporate- versus individual-liable considerations, mobile OS support, BYOD trends, and future investment in mobile technologies.

"The continued expansion of mobility as a 3rd Platform technology is having an unequivocal influence on the future success of overall business strategies within the enterprise," says Bryan Bassett, research analyst, Enterprise Mobility: Device Solutions. "The findings from IDC's 2015 Enterprise Mobile Device Survey show that the benefits of deploying mobile solutions within the enterprise are being realized in measureable financial terms, and as a result, companies are committing more of their IT department resources toward mobile initiatives, with high levels of success and satisfaction."
