This IDC study presents the U.S. wearable computing device forecast for the 2023-2027 period."Having witnessed strong growth and high volumes during the pandemic, the U.S. wearables market cooled down in 2022, and we expect that trend to continue in 2023, albeit at a lower rate," says Ramon T. Llamas, research director for IDC's Wearables team. "Vendors should look to replacement opportunities while customers will be on the search for bargains and best-of-breed devices and solutions. Beyond that, the fundamentals of the market are sound with first-time users waiting to be connected and a growing list of devices."
