The global confectionery sector was valued at over US$164 billion in 2017 and is forecast to record a CAGR of 4.3% during 2017-2022. The Eastern Europe confectionery sector is the second smallest in value terms. The sector was valued at around US$17 billion in 2017 and is expected to cross US$20 billion by 2022 at a CAGR of about 3.9%. The Eastern Europe confectionery sector is dominated by Russia and Poland with market shares of 53% and 15.8%.
