Consumer prices calmed down in 2016 after the inflation shock of the previous year, whilst real wages started to grow, positively influencing hot drinks sales in Russia. As a result, both retail and foodservices volume sales increased in 2016 as compared to 2015. Growth was throughout - in tea, coffee and other hot drinks.
