The lighting fixtures market in the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA) is estimated by CSIL worth USD 2.7 billion for the year 2013 and with an outlook of USD 2.9 billion for the year 2014. In a five years span (2008-2013), consumption of lighting fixtures registered a robust (62%) increase, over 10% yearly.
The Region is a big importer of lighting fixtures (around USD 1.7 billion, equal to 70 % of the total consumption) while exports worth just 261 million (26 % of the total production).
Top 50 players handle about 60% of the lighting fixtures market in Middle East and North Africa. Growth has been registered mainly in the commercial and industrial lighting segments.
