Produced commercially from propylene oxide, propylene glycol is today used in a lot of applications worldwide. Some of the major uses of propylene glycol include unsaturated polyester resins, in cosmetics, in dog food, in liquid detergents, personal care products, functional fluids as well as antifreezes.
