Abstract

This new study from Paumanok Publications analyzes the value and volume of global consumption for ceramic dielectric materials in the electronic component industry. The study looks at the world market for brium titanate and its high-purity precursors- barium carbonate and titanium dioxide. It also looks at both the captive and merchant markets for barium titanate based upon hydrothermal, oxalate, and sol-gel processes. The study also loks at the market for X7R, X5R, COG and Y5V formulations. The study includes pricing for materials, market shares in formulations and barium titanate; and looks closely at consumption by customer in the MLCC and PTC segments. Market forecasts are give to 2013.
