Abstract
The enterprise sector has always proved a challenging market for
telecommunications operators, with the attraction of high revenue, long term
contracts, high volumes of users and healthy margins increasingly offset by
demands for greater value for money, security and technology innovation.

both large enterprises and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have slowly
leaked fixed line margin and volume away from fixed line providers in many
markets, with fixed line replacement occurring on both a piecemeal and
wholesale basis.
