Abstract

This Intelligence Set includes our latest edition of the truck manufacturing report, along with profiles of DAF, DaimlerChrysler, GM, Iveco, Leyland, MAN, PACCAR, Scania, Volvo Truck.

It offers excellent value for money and will allow you to discover where the market is heading, what the latest innovations are, and how your competitors are performing.

When just-auto first published this report, European and North American manufacturers dominated the global truck market. To some extent, this is still the case, with OEMs based in NAFTA, Europe and Japan leading technological developments in the industry.

But four of the world' s largest manufacturers are based in Asia, and with these OEMs accounting for more than 30% of global truck production, it leaves little doubt as to where the greatest expansion is likely to be in the medium term.

This second edition of just-auto' s truck manufacturing report reviews the key market drivers, and updates market analysis. It provides an overview of the industry, and includes top level market sales data and production forecasts through to 2011.

Whilst the report follows the same format as the first edition, all forecasts and manufacturer profiles have been overhauled and any major changes in the truck manufacturing sector have been included.
