Zirconium Dioxide Market Research in the CIS and Forecast of Its Development in Conditions of Financial Crisis
|
Abstract
This report provides the detailed information about Zirconium Dioxide Market
Research in the CIS and Forecast of Its Development in Conditions of Financial
Crisis.
The report is devoted to research of current standing of market of zirconium
resources in Russia and CIS countries and prospects of its developments. The
report is composed of 7 Sections, contains 82 pages, including 17 Figures, 34
Tables and 4 Appendices. The report is a desk research. As information
sources, we used data of Russian State Statistic Service, Inter-State
Committee on Statistics of CIS countries, Federal Customs Service of Russia,
sectoral official statistics of railway transport of MPS of Russia (Russian
domestic railage statistics), sectoral and regional print press, yearly and
quarterly reports of companies, web-sites of producers and consumers of the
product. In connection with the fact that, in Russia, motor transportation of
freight is not liable to obligatory statistic recording, the report presents
data on railway supplies only, as well as data of some enterprises.
The first Section of the report presents data on mineral resources base of
zirconium and mining of zirconium-containing ores in the world. Data on world
production of zirconium-containing mineral concentrates are presented as well.
The Section contains information on the main world producers and conditions on
zirconium concentrates. The main end-uses of zirconium concentrates are
described, pattern of zirconium dioxide consumption in the world, as well as
world prices on these resources are considered.
The second Section of the report is devoted to analysis of mineral resources
base and mining of zirconium-containing ores in Russia and CIS. The Section
presents data on the greatest producers of zirconium concentrates in Ukraine
and Russia. It presents data on the production processes and applied
equipment, range and quality of the manufactured products, volumes of the
production and plans of development of the enterprises.
The third Section considers questions of zirconium dioxide production in the
CIS, including data on the production processes and applied equipment, range
and quality of the manufactured products, volumes of the production and the
production statistics by the enterprise-producers, information on the
export-import prices.
The fourth Section is devoted to analysis of foreign trade operations of
Russia and Ukraine in zirconium concentrates in 2001-2008. It presents
dynamics of exports of baddeleyite concentrate from Russia and imports of
zircon concentrate by Russia, volumes and directions of the supplies.
The fifth Section of the report presents analysis of zirconium dioxide
consumption in Russia. Calculation of consumption of zirconium dioxide in
2000-2008 is presented, as well as pattern of the consumption and description
of the main end-uses and the main company-consumers.
The sixth Section of the report describes zirconium dioxide consumption in
hi-tech sectors. List of Russian Scientific Centers, involved in modernizing
the synthesis processes, investigating properties and promising end-uses of
zirconium dioxide is given.
The seventh, final Section presents forecast of development of Russian market
of zirconium dioxide up to 2012, taking into consideration the impact of
global and local financial crisis.
This report is currently available in Russian language only. However, we can provide an English version of the report within 3 weeks after receiving a payment.
