Abstract

The report is devoted to research of current standing of market of aluminium wire rod in Russia. The report is composed of 6 Sections, contains 63 pages, including 16 Figures, 21 Tables and 2 Appendices.

The report is a desk research. As information sources, we used data of Federal Service of State Statistics of Russia, Federal Customs Service of Russia, JSC "RZHD" (statistics of railway transportation), materials of sectoral and regional print press, yearly and quarterly reports of companies, web-sites of producers and consumers of aluminium wire rod, own database of "InfoMine".

The first Section of the report presents data on resources, required for production of production of aluminium wire rod in Russia.

The second Section of the report is devoted to dynamics and pattern of production of aluminium wire rod in 1999-2007.

The third Section of the report presents description and characteristics of the main producers of aluminium wire rod in Russia, describes applied processes and equipment, market shares, markets and end-users, export activity.

The fourth Section presents information and analysis of foreign trade operations in aluminium wire rod in Russia in 1999 - 1 half of 2008, presents data on directions of export-import supplies and exporters and importers of aluminium wire rod.

The fifth Section of the report describes consumption of aluminium wire rod in Russia. Supply-demand balance of the product, sectoral pattern of the consumption and its dynamics is given; the main company-consumers and their current standing are described.

The sixth Section presents analysis of current standing and forecast of development of Russian market of aluminium wire rod in Russia in nearest time and medium-term prospects.

The Appendices present addresses and contact information on enterprise-producers and main consumers of aluminium wire rod.
