Abstract
This IDC study examines the market opportunity for networking in
home office households and compares the attitudes, interests, and experiences
with choosing, purchasing, installing, and maintaining wired and wireless LANs
in households with and without home offices.
"Home office households continue
to represent an important opportunity for vendors of networking products,"
says Justin Jaffe, senior research analyst in IDC' s Home Office
Market program. "The increasing number of networked home office households
will be of interest to manufacturers of network-enabled devices and
next-generation networking equipment and infrastructure providers."
