This IDC study provides an overview of the current status of the China CRM (exCC) application market and a forecast for the next five years. It also includes the competitive landscape and market opportunities analyses.

Definitely, the CRM (exCC) applications market is a huge potential market in China, despite the adverse impact by the global economic crisis. However, from IDC' s point of view, it will still be full of opportunities in the near future.

Describing the developing road map of China CRM (exCC) market, Emily Bian, senior software analyst, IDC China, says, "It will experience four major developing stages in the near future: information collection, process management, refined sales, and strategy decision support. In the China market, most of CRM (exCC) system users are at stages 1 and 2. Some of the pioneer enterprises try to deepen the application of CRM (exCC) system to achieve refined sales. Considering the overall IT establishment level of the China market, we still need some time to achieve the CRM (exCC) application at stage 4."
