Abstract

This IDC study quantifies the U.S. monochrome laser A3 and A4 MFP market opportunities and analyzes its issues, trends, and product advances. It contains 2003–2008 actual unit shipments, value of shipments (end-user spending), and average selling value, whereas 2009–2013 data is projected.

"IDC remains bullish on the developing trend toward A4 configurations for monochrome laser MFPs," says Keith Kmetz, program vice president, IDC Hardcopy Solutions. "The highest monochrome laser MFP growth opportunities reside in the 21–69ppm A4 segments."
