Abstract
This IDC study presents IDC Canada' s review of the 2008
performance of the major server hardware vendors in Canada. This
document reviews the relative market share for each of the
major vendors and helps both server vendors and users alike
make positive decisions and understand positioning of products and services
in the market.
"The declining server spend in the Canadian server
market presents a difficult environment for server vendors to operate
in," said Tarun Bhasin, senior research analyst, Canadian Server Market,
IDC Canada. "To be successful, vendors will need to identify
and have a clear focus on the high-growth segments such
as blade servers."
