The uptake of CRM will grow rapidly over the next five years as institutions seek to address the need to compete more effectively to recruit and retain students.

Driven in part by a commitment to increasing participation in higher education and the recent addition of "top up" fees, institutions in the UK will invest heavily in the purchase and implementation of CRM solutions over the next five years.

While institutions in France and Germany will increase their spending on CRM, other solution areas are likely to have a higher budgetary priority over the near-term.
