2008年12月5〜7日、BITの2nd World Congress of Gene-2008（第2回遺伝子会議：2008）が中国の仏山で成功裏に開催されました。オープニングセレモニーでは当イベントのエグゼクティブチェアマンであるXiaodan Mei博士が、世界の20を超える国や地域から集まったおよそ200名の参加者に対し開会の挨拶をしました。“ヒトの健康のための生命解読”をテーマに、当セレモニーに招待された多くの来賓から素晴らしいスピーチがありました。その中には2004年のノーベル化学賞を受賞したAvram Hershko博士、米国のAutoimmunity Research Foundationディレクターでウエスタン・オーストラリア州のMurdoch University非常勤教授でもあるTrevor G Marshall博士、そしてQIAGEN Asia社長Victor Shi博士もいらっしゃいました。 |
