Agri commodities and foodstuffs trading is a dynamic market. Buying habits, markets and trends change overnight. Market dynamics of the trade calls for far reaching infrastructure and expertise for products to move from origination to destination. An efficient supply chain management system provides an incentive to various stakeholders to produce/process as per changing needs of the consumers and enables production planning based on market forces. The purpose of this workshop is to provide agribusiness executives with an opportunity to examine critical issues in the management of the supply chains for delivering value to consumers while remaining globally competitive.

Mr Khoo Hock Aun leads the Ark Bio / Cosmo Biofuels Group which is actively engaged in research and development, establishing jatropha curcas plantations, oilseed to biodiesel downstream processing and trading activities in the Asia Pacifi c region. He is presently developing markets and partnerships for an oilseed-tobiodiesel supply chain based on the Groupís proprietary processing technology for all oilseed crops including use of oil palm biomass for second generation biofuel and biogas for power generation. He is Advisor/Strategist for the International Jatropha Organisation and a Steering Board member of the Roundtable for Sustainable Biofuels.
