Targeting Cancer Stem Cells in Oncology
-癌治療における癌幹細胞の標的化に関するシンポジウム-
特効薬開発への期待

今回のMolecular Medicine Tri-Conferenceから新たに加わるこのシンポジウムは、癌治療薬の標的として癌幹細胞(CSC)および関連する経路に対する関心が製薬業界やバイオテクノロジー業界のなかで高まっているという状況を反映しています。このシンポジウムでは、業界関係者によるケーススタディの発表が予定されており、各種の充実性腫瘍から癌幹細胞を分離して特徴付ける（ゲノムおよびプロテオームの面から）研究の最新の成果、CSCの自己再生に必要な経路の特定、CSC内で薬剤標的の特定と検証を行うためのインビトロアッセイ、癌治療薬候補のインビボ効能モデルの開発、癌のシグナル（Notch、Hedgehog、Wntなど）伝達系を標的としたプロジェクトの検証といったテーマが取り上げられることになっています。

The deadline for submission is July 29, 2011.
All proposals are subject to review by the Scientific Advisory Committee to ensure the highest quality of the conference program.
