Logic products range from the most simple gates to the most complex field
programmable gate arrays. These products constitute a significant portion of
the semiconductor industry. They are used in all five market segments and
provide the processing power and digital interconnect required in all

to be up 9 percent sequentially and 8 percent higher than the third quarter in
2010. Wireless SoCs are driving this trend as several mobile phone OEMs
prepared for back to school and Christmas with new announcements for the
iPhone 4S and other smart phones that are being introduced to the consumer
